Government signs off on €30m Páirc Uí Chaoimh grant

In June, the department sought a cost-benefit plan from the board on the rebuilding of the stadium, but at the meeting in Nemo Rangers’ complex in Trabeg, county secretary Frank Murphy told delegates the plan had received backing and was deemed compliant with the public spending code.
“Minister [Simon] Coveney has signed off on the necessary approval for the grant and we will receive official notification in the near future,” he said.
