Kilmoyley kingpins for 23rd time

Kilmoyley 3-15 St Brendan’s, Ardfert 1-13: Kilmoyley overwhelmed a lethargic St Brendan’s to claim their 23rd Kerry SHC title - and move one behind table toppers Ballyduff in the roll of hour - at Abbeydorney yesterday.

Kerry senior star Daniel Collins, who ironically won an All-Ireland club football title with opponents Ardfert last February, tormented St Brendan’s along with Paudie O’Connor and Adrian Royle.

St Brendan’s had a brief opening five minutes of supremacy, with two John Egan points, but that period of dominance was short-lived.
