Lynskey: Croker experience gives Kilkenny edge

Galway minor hurling manager Jeff Lynskey believes his charges are hugely disadvantaged by their lack of Croke Park experience heading into Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final.

Only two members of the All-Ireland quarter-final-winning team, Sean Loftus and Jack Grealish, were present on the Croke Park turf last August for the county’s 2014 semi-final hammering to Limerick, whereas Sunday’s opposition, Kilkenny, have already played at GAA HQ this summer.
