O’Boyle came for Heron and scored a point in the one-point win over Down in the quarter-final and is selected at left corner-forward, with Daniel Heavron switching to number 13 to accommodate him.
Westmeath, who meet neighbours Meath in the Leinster semi-finals at Croke Park at 2pm on Sunday, have also made one alteration since the win over Wexford. Lorcan Smyth is picked at corner-forward with Ronan Foley the player to miss out.
