Kieran McGeeney: Kerry and Dublin are the real big hitters

Kieran McGeeney insists Donegal “are not in the same ball park” as Dublin and Kerry when it comes to physicality.

The Armagh manager, whose team play Donegal in the Ulster SFC first round on June 14, claimed All-Ireland champions Kerry and Jim Gavin’s Dublin, have raised the bar in terms of big hits and physical combat.

In the wake of Dublin’s 27-point demolition of Longford on Sunday, when the gulf in physicality between the sides was ruthlessly exposed, McGeeney said: “Dublin and Kerry are way above them (Donegal) in terms of physical contact”.
