Charleville get into gear in second-half

Charleville 3-14 Argideen Rangers 2-10: After a relatively poor first half performance, hot favourites Charleville finally pulled away to secure a comfortable Cork IHC victory over gutsy Argideen Rangers at Coachford last night.

Charleville would best prefer to forget a lack-lustre first half during which they missed as many scores as they got and Argideen, determined from the very outset, kept pace with them throughout the opening 30 minutes.

Charleville were just a point to the good at the interval, not what the coaches or players had expected.
