Despite Cathal Blake goaling after 40 seconds Milltown fell to a 0-13 to 1-8 defeat against Caherlistrane.

Michael Meehan hit the net for Caltra but they lost 1-15 to 1-13 to Kilkerrin/Clonberne.

Mountbellew/Moylough beat St James’ 1-6 to 0-8, Michael Daly got the only goal.

Killannin got the better of Bearna, 1-10 to 1-8 .

Cortoon Shamrock’s beat St Michael’s 1-13 to 0-12 after extra-time, Adrian Varley’s early goal was the difference.

It was 1-10 to 0-10 between Michael Breathnach and An Cheathru Rua with Peadar Og O Griofa slotting a penalty.

Former Galway great Padraig Joyce kicked 10 points but Killererin came up short, 0-15 to 0-14 against Leitir Mor.

A Paul Mannion goal couldn’t give Kilconly the win against Tuam Stars who were victorious 0-16 to 1-10.
