Louis Mulqueen: ‘This is hell for leather, blood and guts, full-blooded Munster championship’

“It’s crucial for us to win but it’s also crucial for Limerick to win. Clare-Limerick games take on a life of their own, you don’t know what form people have coming into the game ... And the championship opens up, then.

“You don’t know what’s going to happen this early. We haven’t had a game for a while, so you don’t know, if we get it right, that’s the crucial thing, we should be there or thereabouts, but Limerick are a serious championship team. They need to win, we need to win, it’s all down to the day.”
