Keeper Liam Coleman points Fermoy over line

Fermoy 1-9  Cill na Martra 0-10: Goalkeeper Liam Coleman expertly converted three crucial second-half frees as Fermoy came from behind to defeat Cill na Martra in the first round of the Cork IFC on Saturday night in Ballincollig.

Fermoy, semi-finalists in the competition last year, trailed by 0-6 to 1-1 at half-time and were struggling in the middle third.

Midfielders Nollaig Ó Laoire and Gearóid Ó Goillidhe were performing effectively and Cill na Martra were relentless in their pursuit of scores.
