First-half surge sees Kildorrery march on

Kildorrery 1-16 Kinsale 0-9: Kildorrery cruised into the fourth round of the Cork IFC after a resounding victory over Kinsale at foggy Caherlag on Saturday evening.

A devastating run of six points without reply prior to the interval was the foundation stone for the win and the losers can have few complaints about the outcome.

The conditions meant the game was in doubt for a spell but when the tie eventually started it was Kildorrery who showed their hand first, with scores from Peter O’Brien and Tom Monaghan.
