Patrick Horgan hails Cork’s selfless forward unit

Patrick Horgan regards the current Cork forward unit as the most dangerous Rebel compilation in recent history.

Waterford selector Dan Shanahan, quoted in these pages yesterday, doesn’t disagree. The statistics, however, tell a much different story.

Horgan has accounted for close to half of Cork’s league tally this spring — swatting 2-70 of their 10-158 across seven games (that’s 40% if you really want to crunch numbers).
