Dubs could call up Alan Brogan for final, says James McCarthy

James McCarthy believes Alan Brogan’s impressive display against Galway on Sunday could see him in the reckoning to face Cork on Sunday.

Former footballer of the year Brogan scored four points in the challenge game in Skerries.

“He’s moving well,” McCarthy said of Brogan. “He was in training last week. He’s not too far off it now. I heard he did well yesterday (Sunday) so that is a big plus for us. He looks fit. I know he was playing away for the club. He’s a naturally fit guy anyway.
