Cork minor footballer makes it a hat-trick of spectacular goals

The youngster – who played minor for Cork last year – surged to prominence last Friday night with two astonishing solo goals in eight minutes for Ballyvourney school Colaiste Ghobnatan in the All-Ireland Post-Primary senior C defeat by Kildare’s Árdscoil Rathagan.
The first, in particular, was an incredible effort that took him from his own half past seven or eight defenders, before blasting home.
The goals were featured on the Sideline Eye Facebook account. Sideline Eye provides video and statistical analysis for GAA teams.
Ó Duinnín had also produced a long-distance effort for the school in this year’s Munster semi-final. He had a little help this time, but again ran at least 100 yards, exchanged passes and finished in style.
Sideline Eye have now been good enough to make the goal available to a wider audience.
Ó Duinnín will play at midfield for Cork against Limerick in the Munster minor quarter-final at the Gaelic Grounds.
Expect the Limerick half-back line to be given instructions.
