Galway ready for New York, insists Paul Conroy

Paul Conroy insists Galway football is in a good place ahead of next month’s Connacht SFC opener.

Galway came through must-win games against Roscommon and Kildare to avoid relegation from Division Two and Conroy believes they are battle hardened for their trip to face New York on May 3.

“No matter what year it is or what division you are playing in, it is always important to finish the league on a high to be moving forward in a positive frame of mind. We did that this year and we now have momentum going into the championship.
