Roscommon eyeing up promotion after comeback win against Meath

Second-half goals from Cathal Cregg and Senan Kilbride catapulted Roscommon into second place and gives them every chance of plying their trade in the top flight.
The excellent Graham Reilly (2), Padraic Harnan, Micheal Newman (2fs) and David Bray (free) found the target for the visitors. For Roscommon, Diarmuid Murtagh (2), Mark Healy, Ciarán Murtagh (1f) and goalkeeper Darren O’Malley (45) all had points but they looked to have it all to do in the second-half.
Points from Kevin Reilly and Mark O’Sullivan gave Meath a three-point lead but the Rossies came back. Keeper Paddy O’Rourke’s error gifted Roscommon their second goal.
When Shine hit over another score with nine minutes remaining, it left Meath with too much to do.
