No room for Paul Galvin in Kerry squad

Paul Galvin’s return to action for Kerry will have to wait for at least another week, as he wasn’t included in the squad to face Cork in Division 1 of the Allianz Football League at Páirc Uí Rinn on Sunday (2pm).

Eamonn Fitzmaurice and his selectors have made just one change to the team which beat Dublin last week, with Barry John Keane replacing Paul Geaney in the full-forward line.

Cork have made a couple of interesting choices. Mark Collins is selected at full-forward, having partnered Fintan Goold at midfield in the narrow loss to Donegal last week. Goold’s new partner is Eoin Cadogan, who moves from centre-back, where Stephen O’Donoghue of Ballincollig now takes up tenure. Donncha O’Connor is the player to miss out.
