Niall Moyna: Play midweek Sigerson Cup finals

The Sigerson Cup finals weekend format is outdated and increases the risk of burnout, according to Niall Moyna.

The DCU manager called for the competition to be run off on successive Wednesdays, with the final played midweek under floodlights.

“This format is old-fashioned. Moreover, asking guys to play two games in two days is asking for trouble,” he said.
