Eamonn Kelly happy as Kerry win in a canter

Wicklow 1-6 Kerry 2-20: Kerry hurling manager Eamonn Kelly was happy with his side’s improvement as they ran out 17-point winners over Wicklow in Division 2A at Arklow.

Having drawn with Derry in the opening round, the Kingdom upped their performance to the satisfaction of Kelly, who sees the league as valuable preparation for the Christy Ring Cup.

“We were very static in our performance against Derry the previous week and we worked on that during the week,” he said.
