GAA hit with another racist abuse claim

The Wicklow hurlers claim Andy O’Brien was subjected to racist abuse after he was sent off during the Kehoe Cup final against Meath in Trim on Sunday. O’Brien is understood to have had a verbal exchange with a Meath official as he left the field. Wicklow manager Casey O’Brien said they made referee Kevin Brady aware of the matter.

“This is not the first time Andy has been subjected to racial abuse at matches and this time we want something done about it,” he said.
