Stylish Fermanagh finish ahead of Sligo

Quigley notched seven points – six from frees – and provided the inspiration along with midfielder Eoin Donnelly and centre-forward Ryan Jones as Pete McGrath’s charges top the table ahead of the three-week break.
Fermanagh led at the interval, 0-8 to 0-6, and overall created the best chances with substitute Conal Jones showing well by scoring two points in the last 10 minutes.
Sligo, who gave an AFL debut to young midfielder Criostóir Davey, only played cohesively in patches and will rue Adrian Marren’s inexplicable goal miss after 43 minutes when they were two points down, 0-9 to 0-7.
Marren and Mark Breheny each supplied a hat-trick of points, while Pat Hughes made a difference when moved to full-forward in the closing stages.
