Rising Rebels, Cork, have chance to impress in Mallow tonight

As Cork selector Seanie McGrath joked last weekend, there’ll be no tour of the primary schools if the Rebels claim some January silverware with victory in tonight’s Waterford Crystal Cup final against Limerick.

Instead what McGrath and the management team are looking for in Mallow is for new talent to give them increased options ahead of their league opener against Kilkenny on February 14.
