Sligo star O’Hara tips Walsh for Galway success

Former Sligo star Eamonn O’Hara has tipped Kevin Walsh to return Galway to the top flight of the Allianz Football League.

O’Hara was hugely critical of Walsh during his final year in charge of the Yeats County, ridiculing the two-time All-Ireland medal winner in the wake of Sligo’s 2013 Connacht championship defeat to London.

In an interview with Galway Bay FM, O’Hara described Walsh as an “excellent coach” and expects the Galway manager to oversee the county’s promotion from Division 2 this spring.
