The veteran trainer, who guided team of the year Cork to their ninth All-Ireland in 10 years this year, feels the tide is turning in terms of crowd support for women’s sport — and members of the fair sex should lead the charge.

“One of the problems with women’s sport is that it needs more support from other women. I feel strongly about that,” he says in an extended interview in tomorrow’s bumper Sport 2015 magazine with the Irish Examiner.
