Battling Rochestown finish in fine style to seal the deal

St Francis College, Rochestown 2-9 Gaelcholáiste Mhuire AG 1-6

In a low-scoring, but ultra-competitive encounter, the Roco boys pulled clear against a Gaelcholáiste Mhuire side that were involved right to the end.

Having ended 1-3 apiece at the break, St Francis College restarted with three points in quick succession from Sean Powter, Kingston and Cormack to edge ahead, and when Powter scored a goal in the 38th minute, the Rochestown side were in control and ran out winners by six points.
