Lismore retain provincial title in style

Lismore (Waterford) 2-7 Sarsfields (Cork) 0-5

Shauna Kiernan, Shona Curran, Aoife Hannon impressed for the winners who led 1-5 to 0-1 at the break with Catriona McGlone goaling in the third minute. Lucy Allen had the sole reply for the losers.

Though Sarsfields managed to put some respectability on the scoreboard on the restart, the result was never in doubt after Ruth Geoghegan’s 44th minute goal.
