Tipperary senior hurling team manager Eamon O’Shea is "delighted" Michael Ryan will succeed him in the Premier County hot-seat after the conclusion of the 2015 campaign.

A recommendation that Ryan take over from O’Shea for the 2016 campaign will be rubberstamped at tomorrow night’s county board meeting in Thurles.

Tipperary chiefs have also revealed that 2010 All-Ireland SHC medallist Declan Fanning will come on board as a selector for O’Shea’s final season at the helm.
