Carbery Rangers manager Micheál O’Sullivan said the performance of referee James Bermingham had a "telling" impact on yesterday’s Cork SFC final.

O’Sullivan felt several of the referee’s calls went against his outfit, questioning Bermingham’s decision to award Carbery a ’45 at the death instead of a penalty.

The clock had spilled into time added on when John O’Rourke fielded possession inside the large parallelogram, his effort denied by an apparent foot block. Bermingham consulted with his umpires before awarding a ’45.
