Cork and Kerry on track for Munster final meeting
Unlike this past season, there had been a 50-50 chance the neighbours could be drawn in the same semi-final.
However, they will face quarter-final winners in separate last-four games, Cork taking on Clare or Limerick and the Munster and All-Ireland champions facing Waterford or Tipperary.
It means the odds are short on a Kerry-Cork final taking place in Fitzgerald Stadium in July.
Meanwhile, in the Munster hurling draw, Clare and Limerick were pulled out of the bowl to gether to set up a quarter-final clash next May.
Not since 1997 have a team managed to win Munster and All-Ireland titles from that stage of the competition. The winners of that intriguing battle will face All-Ireland runners-up Tipperary in the semi-final, while in the other last four fixture Cork and Waterford will meet for a second year in succession.
New Dublin manager Ger Cunningham will make his Championship bow against Galway in the Leinster quarter-finals.
