Slick An Rinn firmly in control
An Rinn eased to an 0-11 to 0-3 lead at half-time after a slick looking Gaeltacht side had racked up eight points without response by the 20th minute.
Ian Cantwell finally took the bare look off the scoreboard for De La Salle after a charge down the centre on 21 minutes. Six different players recorded scores for a rampant An Rinn during the first period.
Their only concern came when Liam Ó Lonáin departed through injury. Se La Salle nibbled away at the lead slightly with a pair of Mitchell Casey frees.
The Eastern side were dealt another a blow immediately after the restart when Kevin Moran received a black card. They only managed two points from play over the 60.
Donie Breathnach added four more points for the winners in a dull second period.
