The Lorrha-Dorrha star appeared to damage his knee although it was iced immediately and he isn’t considered to be a significant doubt for the re-match on Saturday fortnight.

Earlier this week, it had been speculated Kilkenny had concerns with Richie Hogan and Eoin Larkin but both are expected to be available for selection again. Hogan had to limp off after clutching his thigh in the latter stages of Sunday’s draw. However, it was later confirmed as cramp.

Maher played on in the All-Ireland semi-final against Cork despite incurring a rib injury early on.

Aside from him, there are no other worries for Tipperary with Michael Cahill coming through the session unscathed.

Tipperary have postponed all club championship games not involving panel members until after the replay, although Kilkenny go ahead with intermediate and junior fixtures this weekend, which will feature several of their squad.
