Henry Shefflin is capable of playing the entirety of next month’s All-Ireland final, according to Brian Cody.

Speaking at last night’s pre-final press night, the Kilkenny manager said the most decorated hurler in the game is a consideration for a starting spot, despite having not having begun any of the county’s five Championship games.

“For certain, he has 70 minutes in him. He has 73 or 74 minutes in him. He most definitely has. He’s fit. He’s in great shape. There is no doubt about that.”
