Kerry cast envious eye at Páirc grant

The Government yesterday increased its spending on sports projects across the country with the announcement that €40.5 million in funding is to be divided between 880 clubs and organisations, a significant hike on the €31m allocated during the last round of sports capital funding in 2012.
O’Sullivan revealed the Kerry board had applied for €500,000 in funding and said they will be seeking further Government assistance to help finance their centre of excellence project.
