Royals ‘10 years behind Dubs’, but they can always be beaten

Joe Sheridan believes Meath could be as many as 10 years behind Dublin in terms of football development.

The 2010 Leinster final winner, who was omitted from this year’s Royal panel, is not among those in his county calling for their neighbours to be split.

The 30-year-old said it’s up to Meath to get their own house in order and try and emulate at least some of what Dublin have done structurally.
