Tipp’s bitter row rumbles on as Campbell demands apology

Ladies Gaelic Football Association President-elect Marie Hickey and Galway’s Con Moynihan travelled to Horse and Jockey last Wednesday to try find a solution to the row that has decimated Tipp’s intermediate squad.

Leahy dropped 2013 All Star nominee Mairead Morrissey, vice-captain Jennifer Grant, Patricia Hickey, Samantha Lambert and Kelly Hackett before 14 other players removed themselves from his set-up. But Tipperary LGFA chiefs are continuing to stand firm behind former county hurling star Leahy, a former All-Ireland medallist and All-Star.
