Munster championship games key to Kerry development

Kerry minor boss Ian Brick believes the county’s minor hurlers must become a permanent fixture in the Munster championship.

Kerry returned to the provincial competition this spring following a year’s enforced sabbatical and Brick says their participation on an annual basis is paramount for the development of the game in the county.

Clare, forced to travel the backdoor route courtesy of the five-point defeat by Waterford, welcome the Kingdom to Cusack Park tonight for what is the first knockout tie of the competition, but churning out a result doesn’t figure on the visitor’s agenda.
