Sky Sports fan Micko happy diaspora will get to see games

Legendary Kerry manager Mick O’Dwyer says he has no issue with the GAA’s media rights deal with Sky and is actually looking forward to taking in the games on the British broadcaster.

He is a fan of Sky Sports’ coverage although he appreciates there has been plenty of disquiet about the agreement inked earlier this week.

The 77-year-old, picking up his sixth Hall of Fame award yesterday with the GAA’s official accolade, underlined the importance of more games being available to Irish people abroad.
