Lehane: Teams so close anything can happen

It was a topsy-turvy year for Cork last year and it is shaping up to be the same in 2014 according to ace forward Conor Lehane.

“We were up and down, up and down — relegation (from Division 1A), then winning against Clare (Munster semi-final), losing the Munster final and coming back to an All-Ireland final and losing it.”

This year it’s been the same story; in the first (and most crucial) league game Cork raced into an early and impressive lead against Limerick, who then had a man sent off, yet they ended up only with a draw.
