O’Shea relief as hard work finally pays off

Could this be the game that turns Tipperary’s season around? Certainly that is now the hope of manager Eamon O’Shea.

They had a record of three losses from four league games coming into Thurles yesterday and needing to beat a Dublin side, fresh after scalping Kilkenny, by at least three points to avoid the dreaded relegation final and qualify for a league quarter-final.

It drew a smile of relief from Eamon.
