Shefflin confident Cooper will make full recovery

Two-time cruciate injury victim Henry Shefflin believes Colm Cooper needs no advice as he copes with a season on the sidelines.

Shefflin recovered from the dreaded “unhappy triad” ACL problem on two occasions and returned each time to win All-Ireland titles and personal accolades.

“He applies himself so well to his game, I’m sure he’ll do the same in his recovery,” said Shefflin about the 30-year-old Kerry captain, speaking as part of a Twitter questions and answers session organised by his employers Bank of Ireland yesterday.
