Ballysaggart seeking final replay

Ballysaggart are seeking a replay of their All-Ireland Club junior hurling final as they claim Creggan Kickhams fielded an illegal player.

The Waterford club lost Saturday’s replay but it has since come to their attention that forward Conor Small shouldn’t have played in either final game or in the Antrim club’s semi-final win over Fullen Gaels.

Small, who scored 1-3 in Mullingar last weekend, is 16 and didn’t feature for Kickhams in last season’s county and Ulster junior championships as he was too young.
