Kealy and Cox drafted in as Kerry host Oak Leafers

Kerry make two changes from the team that lost to Dublin for tomorrow’s Division 1 round two clash with Derry in Killarney.

Brendan Kealy makes way for Brian Kelly in goal, while Conor Cox is introduced to the forward line where he replaces Michael Geaney. Stephen O’Brien switches to centre-forward with Cox, a substitute in Croke Park, selected at left corner-forward.

An errant Kealy kickout contributed to Dublin’s second goal last Saturday, but Eamonn Fitzmaurice has alternated his goalkeepers this season.

Recently-retired Paul Galvin’s spot on the bench is taken by Milltown-Castlemaine’s Marcus Mangan, while it was also confirmed Declan O’Sullivan won’t return to action until April, with Marc Ó Sé back next month. Both have been given extended breaks by management.

Kildare make a couple of personnel alterations — like Kerry, one coming in goal — from their opening round for their trip to Cork. Mark Donnellan replaces Shane Connolly in goal and Fergal Conway takes Ollie Lyons’ spot after the latter was injured in last Sunday’s win over Mayo.

Meath manager Mick O’Dowd introduces Andrew Tormey for Conor Gillespie in midfield in his only change from the team that beat Galway for the Royal County’s trip to Monaghan.
