Subs swing it for Cork IT
Cork panellists Jamie Coughlan and Mark Ellis both came off the bench to good effect for the hosts, who had David Drake to thank for the crucial 51st-minute goal which opened up a five-point lead.
As a result, a win away to GMIT next Thursday will guarantee CIT a home quarter-final. Their manager Pat Mulcahy paid tribute to impact Coughlan and Ellis made. “It’s very hard to come on and perform but that’s what they did,” he said.
