Cork continued their preparations for next week’s start to the Allianz National Football League Division 1 by beating Dublin on a 2-13 to 1-11 scoreline in a challenge game at Parnell Park on Saturday.

Goals from Daniel Goulding and Donal Óg Hodnett were pivotal in giving Brian Cuthbert’s side a fourth win in four games following a successful McGrath Cup campaign, though the All-Ireland champions were without a number of key players.

A second Cork side was also victorious against Dublin and Leinster senior champions St Vincent’s, who are preparing for an All-Ireland club semi-final with Derry’s Ballinderry on February 15.
