Bad start for Lennon as Trinity edge out Armagh

In Trim, Peter Durnin produced an fine individual display when helping Meath cruise past a disappointing St Patrick’s Drumcondra 5-29 to 1-7. The talented wing-forward struck 3-7.
Elsewhere, Kildare registered a facile 3-26 to 0-6 victory over Roscommon, while both GMIT and Derry recorded noteworthy away wins over Louth and DCU, respectively.
