Congress to vote on Moyle minor motion

A Moyle Rovers motion calling for only provincial champions in minor football and hurling to progress to the All-Ireland series will be voted on at Congress next month.

The south Tipperary club’s proposal comes in the wake of recent seasons where Munster runners-up have reached the knock-out stages despite having lost two games.

Last year, Waterford were defeated by both Tipperary and then Limerick in the Munster final but went on to win the All-Ireland MHC.
