Meath players have grown tired of playing second fiddle in Leinster, according to Graham Reilly.

After losing to Dublin in last year’s provincial final and then a fourth round qualifier defeat to Tyrone, the wing forward says the players are determined to heed manager Mick O’Dowd’s encouragement to challenge for honours.

“Last year was Mick’s first year in charge and in fairness he put the foundations down. This year he wants to kick on. It’s about time this team kicks on and starts winning Leinster titles and pushes for All-Irelands because that’s what you want playing for Meath,” he said.
