Dublin’s footballers and hurlers will treat the crowds with an exhibition match on New Year’s Eve at Round Tower GAA Club, Monastery Road, Clondalkin.

The Leinster hurling champions take on the 2013 Dubs Stars, an amalgamation side based on the county’s club championship at 5pm while the footballers face their own club stars at 7pm.

“We’re eagerly looking forward to welcoming our very own Jim Gavin and the Dublin Footballers to Clondalkin, whose achievements have further heightened the excitement and enthusiasm for Gaelic Games in the locality, particularly amongst our young people,” said Tony Delaney, Round Tower chairman.
