Cavan claim lack of volunteers could have GAA-wide impact

A top Cavan official has expressed fears about the difficulty in recruiting volunteers into GAA clubs.

And secretary Liam McCabe will tell delegates at tomorrow night’s convention the problem is not confined to Cavan.

“In these trying times the role of the volunteer is something that needs to be addressed as the number of volunteers seems to be decreasing all the time,” he said.
