The Killarney kingpins eased to a 3-15 to 1-13 win at Fitzgerald Stadium.

Crokes had a dream start when Brian Looney goaled in the opening minute. Looney finished with 1-6 while Kieran O’Leary hit 2-2 and Kerry minor Micheal Burns and Johnny Buckley had two points each. The victory sets up a mouthwatering final with neighbours Legion on Sunday with Cooper and Eoin Brosnan bidding for a record 11th O’Donoghue Cup medal.

In North Kerry, Castleisland Desmonds captain Pat Fitzgerald scored a late goal to stun Finuge and send his side into the divisional decider with favourites Listowel Emmets on Sunday. Fitzgerald’s dramatic strike sealed a 1-12 to 1-11 win.

Meanwhile former All-Ireland Club JFC champions Ardert were relegated to Division Three of the County League by Kenmare yesterday (2-11 to 0-10).
