Falling income sees Galway football lose €54,000

A disappointing year on the field for Galway football has been matched off it with the county again recording a financial loss.

Galway Football Committee delegates will tonight hear that a loss of over €54,000 was incurred during the year, even though expenditure fell also by that amount.

Last year the football committee suffered a loss of €46,262, with income of €754,939 being surpassed by expenditure of €801,201.
